Then you can have someone place cards that have numbers on them to number all the evidence you find. To photograph evidence the best thing to do is to take a close up of the evidence and then take a few steps back and take a wider angle shot so you know where exactly that piece of evidence is. You need to be careful that you don't take the photo at a weird angle because it will distort the piece of evidence and then you can't use it. It's always good to take more than one photo of the same thing in-case it's blurry so you have a backup. A really good thing to do when photographing a scene is to put a ruler by the evidence so you know how big it is because the photos can be deceiving. Another thing you can use a ruler for is measuring how far away something is compared to another thing. An example of that is if there is a body and there is blood, how far away is the blood from the body.
