THE BECK DEPRESSION INVENTORY - 2ND EDITION this diagnostic device is designed to assess depressive symptoms in the adult population. McCalla completed The Beck Depression Inventory – 2nd Edition. She had a total raw score of 34 on this test, which places her in the clinical symptom range, related to depression. Scores from 29 to 63 are considered in the severe clinical symptom range, for The Beck Depression Inventory – 2nd Edition.

McCalla is reporting a number of symptoms consistent with Mood Disorder. McCalla reports that she has had periods of time in her life where she did not feel her usual self. McCalla recalls having episodes where she has felt more irritable to the point that she has shouted at people or started arguments or fights with others.

McCalla reports that she has had episodes where she has felt much more self-confident than usual. She recalls episodes where she has got much less sleep than usual and found that she did not really miss the sleep. McCalla remembers times where her thoughts have raced. She could not slow her mind down. McCalla recalls episodes where she has been easily distracted by things. McCalla reports times in her life where she has been much more interested in sex than usual.
