Terupt” also tries to express the theme of forgiveness with his story. One example is how Lexi was a bully ever since you first meet her. She was definitely a bratty person as well without a doubt which gave a terrible thought of her in the whole story. Finally Mr Terupt had enough of Lexi and brought her out into the hall and yelled at ther and they talked then Lexi stops being an overall bully. She winds up apologizing to her class and even becoming friends with some of the students. Another example of forgiveness is especially how Peter put Mr. Terupt in a coma for a long time with an iceball, AND was a pain in the neck throughout the book, but in the end Mr. Terupt wakes up and Peter apologizes and the teacher forgives him. A last example is yet another way Mr. Terupt forgave a student. During the science experiment with the plants to see how quickly they grew with different mixtures of ingredients. Most of the students succeeded in the process of making the mixtures except Luke tried one so strange that it started smoking and bubbling until finally they had to evacuate the school from the fire alarm. Mr. Terupt was a little mad but a little surprised by the chemical components mixing and making it explode. Luke was talked to and forgiven by his teacher. This clearly shows how these stories both show
