Inner Beauty vs. Physical Beauty “It’s not about what’s on the outside, it’s about what’s on the inside.” This quote is widely known around the world. Inner beauty and physical beauty are two ways to categorize beauty. In addition, each of these categories can be further broken down into subcategories. These different aspects of beauty can be obtained or improved in many ways and are important to different people in varying degrees. There are many different aspects of physical and inner beauty and they can be obtained or improved in many ways, and is important in different areas. You can judge someone’s physical beauty without ever speaking to them or knowing anything about their personality. Physical beauty is based strictly on factors such as the color of your hair, how close a person’s eyes are together, or the size or shape of a person’s body. Outer beauty is a quality that gives another person visual pleasure.
Inner beauty is a quality within a person that gives another person pleasure or satisfaction to the mind. Inner beauty can basically amount to anything you can’t see. The factors that impact someone’s internal beauty are very complicated and diverse. These factors include the way they react to things, their attitude, their sense of humor and how confident they are about themselves. Many people recognize that inner beauty is a lot more important, but it cannot be denied that in our society physical beauty is held in high regard. A person may be considered beautiful initially based on external factors, but the inner beauty and/or combination of it with the external is typically what determines whether someone is truly considered beautiful. Inner beauty has the longest lasting impression on people and perhaps is the most important in forming relationships.
