Beautiful Music To The Song Home Improvement By Josh Woodward

Decent Essays
I just listened to the song "Home Improvement" by Josh Woodward. What a beautiful song with a folk-rock tune.
The song has a relaxing mood with catchy lyrics.
Someone thinks, that Josh's voice is rough and edgy, but I don't think so. He doesn't have much of a range and "bass". That's why I can't really dance to "Home Improvement". I suppose it's good to listen to this song after a hard day at work and maybe it will help you relax and forget about problems.

Very interesting! I recommend this music when you want to relax and forget about

The first job someone has is often memorable in many ways, they are earning their own money, accepting a new form of responsibility, and they’re usually treated horribly because their position is seen as inferior. In today’s world, people who work jobs that don’t require a degree are looked down upon. It is often ignored that the resources that are needed to obtain the education that is required for a white collar job, are not available to everyone. A certain intelligence that comes of blue collar workers and what they must deal with is also dismissed. There is no shame in being a blue collar worker, it requires a completely different skill set that cannot be taught.…

I feel the song Compass by Lady Antebellum describes my character in a nutshell. It’s about following your heart not as much your head. It is about living life as it’s laid out, not how you think it’s supposed to be. I love this song because it also reminds you that someone will always be there when you need them. You may not know who they are, but I hope humanity has not yet reached the point where we leave another human being in need out on the street without offering any help.…

I think that the author R.J. Palacio chose the song Beautiful Things for the Miranda section because Miranda alway say that Auggie is beautiful and is like a brother to her. I think that because on page 165 it says “ I've known Auggie since I was six years old. I've watched him grow up. I've played with him. I've watched all six episodes of Star Wars for his sake, so I could talk to him about the aliens and bounty hunters and all that.…

I'm sipping herbal tea while listening to my bandmate's vulnerable tenor voice being captured over an instrumental we recorded earlier in the week. This is heaven. We're in Athens, Georgia working woth with an engineer/producer we've both admired for quite some time (he's worked on some of our favorite records by some of our biggest influences). I mean, this guy's a wizard or something. I'm watching him record tracks and edit them with speeds unimaginable; and I'm listening to my partner in art deftly weave his voice and thoughts in and around the floating tapestry of rhythm and melody we co-created, and I can't help but be overtaken by a warm sense of appreciation for the dedicated mastery present in this room.…

Oh Huckleberry Hound, the cartoon doggie, I loved him! Well, I neither knew very well to what the phrase 'Huckleberry friend' meant and for that reason Huckleberry Finn always came to my mind :) but reading to its own authors, 'Huckleberry friend' would be synonym of 'very very special good friend, that has been in your life for years, someone who stuck to you, and follows you to wherever you go', no matter where, and is with you in good times and bad. 'Stranger on the shore' is so beautiful, Ken, I love it. The other songs you mentioned are very good too, so these are the songs you would like to listen as if they were in the air, and they were activated, by a invisible hand, in every special moment of your life.…

The poem that really stood out to me in this week’s readings was “Here Follows Some Verses upon the Burning of Our House” by Anne Bradstreet. I believe this poem really stood out for me because it is something I am working to implement and remember in my own life. This poem from my interpretation is about not worrying so much about material things because they can be gone in an instant, but instead focus on faith. I have worked for many years as a nurse, pouring my heart and soul into what I do. I have also enjoyed to material benefits this hard work has produced; however, since having my son 4 years ago I started realizing there was something missing.…

Music can help alleviate these problems. Thomson, Reece, and Benedetto explain that music can be used as a “distraction from unwanted thoughts, worries, and stress” (Thomson, Reece & Benedetto 11). People can listen to music to forget about the problems that they face every day. Just as music can be a distraction from negative feelings, it can also be a distraction from other aspects of everyday…

In life, a person can feel morose, with the whole world crashing on top of them, or content. When people are unhappy about their situation, they can deal with their emotions in different ways. Many resort to methods that require them to think about something else, but some will do the exact opposite and find an activity where they can ignore their problems. An accessible way to forget about the gloomy aspects in life is music. Stephen Dobyns poem, "Loud Music", addresses how songs and their volume can remove his dispiriting thoughts.…

“House Taken Over” by Julio Cortázar is about two middle aged siblings living in their ancestral house together and describes their daily routines during the tragic time when everything was magically taken away from them, including their house by an some entity that represents fear. The story presents the loneliness, love, and the fear that takes place in both Irene and her brother that contributes to the overall depiction of the story.
