I miss this place. Everything about this place gives me joy. If you close your eyes you can feel it. When you look out you see the crystal clear water, you can even see the golden sands through the apparent water. If you allow yourself to walk ahead you will soon feel the shore's edge, the crisp water hits your feet with a splash. A chill runs up your legs and refreshes you from the humidity. As you walk farther you may feel the fish grace by your feet. Close your eyes and listen to the laughs of children, birds squawking ahead, and the rush of waves. All so calming. Complete tranquility. As you dip below the waves you may get a faint bitter taste of the salt water. When you come above the waves and look around you see the real beauty. As …show more content…
I remember when my mom would sit me down on a little beach blanket near her while she talked to all of her friends. The rest of my friends loved sitting and cuddling with their moms but I loved to run around. As all of my friends sat and or slept I got up and hobbled away. My mother always reminds me that I loved to get up and move around. That island has always made me feel myself. I wasn't afraid to get up and run around, I wasn't afraid to be different and I certainly wasn't afraid to let loose. That is why when two Februarys ago I felt the loving rush of St.Thomas. My family took a trip on a cruise solely because it would stop in some beautiful places including St.Thomas. Even though we could only spend the day we were content. My father and mother meet up with all of their friends as did I. My sisters were just happy to come along and meet to people and see new places. I felt that freeing that I felt many years ago. That's why St.Thomas is my favorite place. It is dazzling place that makes me feel at ease, it's hard for us to feel at ease in this harsh and demanding society but when I think of being back in St.Thomas I feel safe and sound in my heart and

Jersey Shore was a popular TV show on MTV between 2009 and 2012 about “Guidos”, or Americans of Italian descent in their twenties who rented a house together on the Jersey Shore, which was aimed at teenagers and people under thirty. I have gone there every summer, staying for at least a week, since I was four years old.
