What Do You “Open Your Eyes” to? Have you ever wondered what your heart is telling you to do? Do you think you have the courage to do those things? The 2014 song, “Open Your Eyes” by Bea Miller, is about those things and what we feel inside. It grasps you really deep, that it drags you into your mind and make you think. We all think that way and yet we still don’t know what to do with it. The song’s strong, relevant lyrics are how Bea Miller’s song impacts teens, young adults, and children to see what challenges they will face in the future. I was just strolling along YouTube looking up Becky G, and then that’s where I saw Bea Miller and this awesome song at. This song was inspired by the 1st Water Fire Saga series called “Deep Blue”. In the music video, it shows Bea Miller herself walking along the beach, looking like she was searching for something. It also shows some teens running around the beach, having a good time. This song is an inspirational song but it’s not that popular like the other great songs out there. …show more content…
She competed on the 2nd season of X Factor where she had Britney Spears as her mentor (Billboard). Although she did super well, she was eliminated but exited in 9th place (Billboard). After X Factor, she joined with Hollywood Records and that’s when her music career starts to kick in (Billboard). Bea Miller also voice acted in films such as Ice Age 3 and Toy Story 3 (Billboard). Bea Miller won an award for “Best Song to Rock Out to With Your BFF” from the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards (AXS). For a talented 16 years old teen, with a powerful voice, she’s becoming to be really popular in the music
