“Be careful of the words you say Sofia”, Grace yells out across the kitchen. Sofia is the typical ungrateful, disrespectful, self-centered teenage girl; she just turned 16 a week ago, and is now a know-it-all who takes advice from no one but herself. She constantly bickers with her parents, has no respect for anyone and does nothing but cut class to smoke and drink all day. She seems to see nothing wrong with the way she conducts herself. It’s like she lives in her own world, where nothing but drugs and partying is important.
Grace has been Sofia’s best friends since the first grade; she has tried to see the good side of Sofia over the past year and wants to believe that Sofia’s unusual behavior is just a phase; Sofia has always been a strait A student and was continually praised about how kind and loving she was to

As soon as Grace opens the door Sofia screamed, “I hope you die so I never have to see your face again”, then turned and walked away. “I only did it because I care about you”, Grace yelled as Sofia sped out down her driveway. After spending a week at boarding school, Sofia receives heart-rending news from her parents; Grace was involved in a horrific car accident and died at the scene. Sofia falls to her knees, remembering that the last conversation she had with Grace. For days and days she cries herself to sleep, feeling as if she’s responsible for Grace’s death. On the day of Grace’s funeral, bright yellow flowers are in full bloom and the sound of bees buzzing fills the air; Sofia then remembers all the good times she and Grace spent in her garden chasing bees. As she gets up to bid her final farewell a bee lands on her shoulder, Sofia feels that Grace is in her presence and continues; “a wise young lady once told me, be careful of the words you say because you never know what the future
