1. INTRODUCTION
This research project is going to investigate on the Global Factors that influence UK business activities. This project will be looking into the main factors that influence businesses globally and how the businesses are working into the local, national or international market affected by global problems. The main areas about to consider are international trade, how UK businesses are trading internationally with the international market. Less developed countries gain by getting much needed financial resources from the trade. Developing countries in middle east and Africa have some natural resources like oil metals to exchange for financial resources but some countries might don’t have to do that trading. By doing international trade a lot of people will get jobs. Businesses will heir workers from other countries and local employers to but this will reduce numbers of jobs in the UK for the local workforce. This will lead to the unfavorable competition in which the local workers are forced to compete with international workers from countries with lower standards of living, who are willing to do the same job for far below the minimum wage rate. On the other hand hiring international worker increase businesses growth in international market and improves market shares for the business. By the help of The World Trade Organization (WTO) this will helps to promote free trade by persuading countries to abolish import tariffs and other barriers to open markets. This WTO helps some upcoming businesses to get enter into the international market and work on. But some Protectionism are also implemented on business to restrict trade in goods and services to control imports as domestic production or businesses won’t get harm by putting tariffs, quotas system a limit level to import, embargoes which is total ban on imported goods, import licensing, domestic subsidies.
