It was not really about the people. Most people who want to be free from British rule were the upper class and “69 percent of the signers of the Declaration of Independence had held colonial office under England(Zinn)”, so I think we can conclude that the revolutionary was not really about all the people. Even though in the Constitution, it stated “all men are Equal” African- American were still not see or treat as humanity, yet the founder their self-had owned a lot of slavery. Worst it all, the native American who original belong to this land did not gain anything at all while they also did not want the revolutionary to happen.
