If there is one subject I am worthy of teaching, it is how to kill everyone a player sees in Battlefield 4 (a wonderful video game) from 500 meters with a perfectly placed headshot. I am prepared to give three main tips for sniping success that everyone should know: always lead the target, always finish them off, and always check for other snipers. First off, players should always lead their target. Whether they are sprinting, walking, crouch-walking, or crawling, players will generally need to lead the target (shooting in front of the target so that the bullet will hit them.) From 300+ meters, the bullet takes long enough to reach the target that s/he (the target) will have moved enough to affect the shot. Secondly, a player must always finish off their target. If players hit the target once in the body, therefore not killing him (only “noobs”(inexperienced players) do this), then the player must be sure to shoot him once more so that players don’t end up getting a pesky assist or so that the designated target doesn’t spot players out to everyone. Here’s another tip from a pro (and only to be used by pros and quick-to-aim snipers): get a newbie sniper's attention, and chances are, others will notice that he is sniping and also get out a sniper and try to shoot at the player. If the player is quick, like me of course, players can poke their head out really quick and headshot a few, then go back down and wait for them to spawn (come into the world) on each other (players can spawn on teammates who are in combat), then repeat.
