On April 1, 1945, the Battle of Okinawa took place in Japan. Japanese soldiers and U.S allies fighting to end World War 2. Within the 2 1/2 months of the war, Japan had lost over 100,000 casualties including citizens in the city; over 4 million kamikazes compared to U.S Allies 12,000 casualties. Battle of Okinawa is considered the Bloodiest Battle in the Pacific because it had the most casualties than any other battle.
