Q: What was your early childhood like?
A: My father died when I was rather young and my mother was a fairly frail woman so most of my time was spent with my elder brother Caradoc or in the study with one of the tutors. My brother eagerly awaited to become head of the household and excelled in numerous subjects with ease, combat in particular. I on the other hand lagged behind in most activities and found my studies to be the most entertaining pastime.
Q: Why did you confide in and trust the mysterious women who lived in a cave at the edge of the village?
A: She was no danger to me or anyone else due to the fact that she was blind. I confided in her because of how she could read me. She knew of my visions before I had said more then a few words to her and she never called me a lunatic or a fool instead she said …show more content…
Being left behind in a foreign village whilst wounded and watching Caradoc go into battle alone was one of the most unpleasant things I’ve ever experienced in all my years at that time and henceforth. Staying back was in the end a blessing, and by the next morning Caradoc was dead and the enemy had fallen. I do not know how I would have reacted if I had seen my dearest brother slain before my eyes or had found his mangled corpse afterwards.
Q: Why did you decide to burry the dagger on the hill after the battle?
A: Quite simply I knew that was its intended purpose and was guided onto the hill by what I can only describe as pure trust and feeling.
