The viking that led the sack of Paris was a Norse chieftain named Reginherus. This event happened years ago but is still relevant to today because the Vikings failed to capture the city, which made them attack three times instead of a hit and run or a battle. Most of the reason the Vikings kept attacking Paris, was that Paris bribed the Vikings every time they attacked and of course the Vikings took the bribe.
