Battered women syndrome is a mental disorder that is spawn from domestic violence. These victims developed a mental state of "hopelessness" and "helplessness which are results of long-term abuse from their significant other. These victims are usually women in which they become depressed, unworthy, and or incapable of leaving the abusive partner. Battered women syndrome develops with three stages. First, the abusive partner creates tension in the relationship. Second, the abuser becomes more abusive such as emotionally and or sexually. Third, the abuser tries to fix his "wrongdoings" in which the victim forgives. This situation is ongoing in the abusive relationship. It gives the credible information used when describing the issues among the behavioral therapy in the treatment of battered women. The current study reveals the knowledge of the first survey of investigation for PSTD. We found that women who experience depressive and reduction symptoms in PSTD reports less IPV in six months, "with treatment," rather than those who has not had treatment over that course of time. Women that has experience improvements in depression and PSTD reported any IPV in their six months return; even after controlling these effects of being in a relationship with IPV, sexual and physical interpersonal traumas.
