Batman Vs. Superman Trailer

The new Batman v Superman movie is one that has many fans skeptical. The replacing of Christian Bale with Ben Affleck is a move that could doom this movie from the start. It is not fair to judge a role before the movie is actually seen, but Affleck just does not seem like the king of guy who could pull of playing Batman.

LEGO BATMAN IS MORE ENTERTAINING THAN THE NEW TRAILER

I have watched many movies where the trailer was amazing, but the movie sucked. A lot of the times when this happens, the trailer reveals all of the awesome moments. This means that the rest of the movie is boring and practically filler. The fact that Lego Batman is more fun to play than the new Batman v Superman trailer is to watch is no doubt a shot at the movie. The

In Katie Walsh’s review of Batman v Superman, she clearly says how much she disliked the movie due to dull character personalities, lack of plot and a poorly executed final fight scene. She goes onto say how the “characters are as exciting as oatmeal.” (2.3) She explains how the characters lack any depth and how some characters seemed “miscast.” (2.4) Then with so many characters to follow there ends up being very little plot even with the movie being two and a half hours long. Basically the movie tried to do too much at one time.…

Structure and Content As a companion to the film, Waiting for Superman, by Davis Guggenheim (2010), the book, edited by Karl Weber, (2010) is comprised of essays from people who are at the leading edge of educational reformation which are; Davis Guggenheim, Lesley Chilcott, Bill Strickland, Eric Hanushek, Eric Schwarz, Michelle Rhee, Randi Weingarten, Jay Mathews, Geoffrey Canada, and Bill and Melinda Gates. The voice acting, musical score, and special effects are once again fantastic. Notably, Kevin Conroy (Batman), produces another solid performance. Coupled with Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) who also does a great job as James Gordon. One inclusion I am particularly fond of is how Batman: Arkham Knight utilises the Dualshock 4 's internal speaker on PlayStation 4. Hearing speech, or effects play through the controller are a commendable touch that helps enhance your immersion into the game.…

In the opening scene of Batman Begins it shows hundreds of bats flying in the sky. This is to set an ominous tone for the audience and to show a sense of danger. This is also done by the high pitched sound of the bats giving a panicked and fearful tone. The lightening in this scene is very grey and dull, this could foreshadow that the film is going to be quite dark and mysterious as well as representing a sense of evil. This allows the audience to become intrigued and eager to see what the film is about.…

The expectations about Suicide Squad were high as the offbeat movie of anti-heroes, but it turned out to be much below the mark. The anti-heroes failed to terrorize and were more of an eyesore. Some characters need a special mention. Killer Crocs did not seem to be villainous enough and one can hardly bear him on the screen for long.…

The Wolf of Wall Street Analysis The Wolf of Wall Street is a film filled with sex, drugs, and lots of money. It was directed by Martin Scorsese, and released on December 25th, 2013. The movie revolves around the life of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who founded his brokerage firm, Stratton Oakmont. After watching the trailer multiple times, it can be concluded that the audience targeted were mainly adults and teenagers. Even more specific, they use rhetoric to appeal to large groups like college students by showing party scenes, scenes with women in bikinis, and they even throw in the use of alcohol to suggest they are having a good time.…

The funny thing is I continue to watch each week and so do other fans. The question is why do we watch if we don't like it? I believe the reason is fans know this is the closest they can get to seeing the Batman universe in live action each week. We put up with the butchering of the origin because we have nowhere else to turn to. This is why I think DC needs to realize they are taking the wrong approach by banning certain characters from TV because of the movies.…

Trailer Comparison Essay ‘Deadpool’ directed by Tim Miller and ‘Suicide Squad’ directed by David Ayer both utilise close-up shots as part of their trailers. The ‘Suicide Squad’ trailer commences with closeup shots to introduce all characters which has the effect of making a lasting impression in order to be more memorable. The camera then transitions to a wide shot of a restaurant after exhibiting all the ‘superheroes’ in the prison. The shot has been framed through a window and includes the utilization of rain in the shot. This integrates an ominous tone therefore foreshadowing a shady and secretive situation.…

Kingsman: The Secret Service was one of my favorite films of 2015. I was initially excited for the sequel but when the cast was announced for the film it sounded like they were going in a more hokey direction and it turned out I was right. I’ll tell you now, this film isn’t nearly as good as the original but then again very few films are. What many people like about the first film is that it feels like one of those old Bond films from the Roger Moore days (the ones the PC Police poo poo on about these days) and focused on being more fun. While Kingsman: The Golden Circle is indeed fun, it is also an example of too much of a good thing is still too much.…

During my first watch through of the movie, it seemed great and like a solid piece of work. Keep in mind, I am not a “hardcore” DC fan, so for me this movie was just a fun and good movie to watch. However, through the analysis of the audience’s perspective and their reactions I have seen more flaws in the movie that I had originally noticed. At a certain point I found my own perspective on the movie slightly changing. It was adapting to “norm” that the media had created about how the movie was a complete bust.…
