This is a topic that to me is a hard one to figure out. In the entertainment industry today companies are looking for the easiest way to cash in. This is evident in the fact that shows like Full House and Boy Meets World have been brought back in new form and movies are being dragged out into trilogies with the final one being split into two parts. These big time film and television companies are looking for the best way to cash in. So this brings me to my point of why has DC not brought a live action Batman show to TV?

DC has been enjoying the success of shows such as Arrow and Flash. Both of these shows have continued to grow in popularity and DC has been able to cash in on them in a big way. There is a reason DC brought Legends of Tomorrow

The funny thing is I continue to watch each week and so do other fans. The question is why do we watch if we don't like it? I believe the reason is fans know this is the closest they can get to seeing the Batman universe in live action each week. We put up with the butchering of the origin because we have nowhere else to turn to. This is why I think DC needs to realize they are taking the wrong approach by banning certain characters from TV because of the movies. People are going to compare the TV and movie versions because we always want to give our opinions on which is better. However that doesn't mean we are going to choose to watch one or the other, odds are everybody will choose …show more content…
The upcoming Supergirl/Flash crossover and the introduction of earth two on the flash creates a perfect way to not ruin the continuity either. Now they can connect a Batman TV series to the other shows with the same logic they are using to explain the Supergirl crossover. This is something fans have been dying to see. They just want to see the dark knight brought on to the small screen in live action form. I think this would not only be an enormous success for DC, but also would pave the way for other well known superheroes to get their own show live action show as

In my opinion, Batman is morally justified in his reasoning for not committing murder due to the balance he has between Utilitarianism and Kantianism. To Batman, killing is an immoral act that hurts not only the victim but also the killer. Every murder is wrong because it removes one more person from the world and creates another murderer. It’s the consequences that Batman avoids, but he does so because of how he values human life. Many stories involve Batman convincing criminals out of committing murder; he would not have the same impact if he were known to kill his enemies.…

He states “It is [the story], therefore, obviously the product of adolescent male power fantasies and wish-fulfillment. It is also, in this day-and-age, a potentially dangerous narrative that can be easily exploited as propaganda that supports the excesses of American imperialism and global sexism. However, at its best, the Batman story is about justice, restraint, and the desire to take a stand against evil – to make society better as a whole for the effort.” This quote is the most powerful in his book because it perfectly sums up the argument DiPaolo has made in a way that makes his point more known to the reader. Though the author is seemingly against Batman when it comes to his personality and his mindless actions, he does boost Batman up to be a superhero who, through adversity, made a name for himself and is successful at his world-saving endeavors, which DiPaolo seems to respect about him.…

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight is one of the best iterations of Batman since the concept of Batman was first created in 1939; the film offers easy to digest bites of philosophy and a deeper look into human nature. At the same time, The Dark Knight provides insight into society's views on mental illness, what society believes mental illness looks like, and society's views toward the justice system. Despite the film's success and acclaim, what does The Dark Knight say about society's views on mental illness and our justice system?…

When we think of Batman, the words “hope”, “justice”, and “incorruptibility” come to mind. He is The Dark Knight, a bat vigilante who fights to keep the fictional streets of Gotham safe. He is arguably one of the greatest superheroes ever created. He fights crime and faces some of the most insane villains in comic book history. What makes him stand out from the rest is that, as Wikipedia states, “unlike most superheroes, Batman does not possess any superpowers; rather, he relies on his genius intellect, physical prowess, martial arts abilities, detective skills, science and technology, vast wealth, intimidation, and indomitable will.”…
