Batman is a powerless hero that relies on his mind to help him in situations. A heroic quality that Batman has is he’s able to deal with failure. Throughout his experiences, losing to other heroes or villains, he’s able to pick himself up and inspire the people of Gotham to have persistence. His quote,” A hero can be anyone even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a little boy’s shoulder to let him know that the world hadn’t ended”, speaks out an audience letting them know that anyone could be hero. You don't need powers to be a hero or succeed missions all you need to is your mind. Another heroic quality that Batman is he made sacrifices. In his trilogy, Bruce sacrifices his fame, his body his reputation, loses his loved ones his money. In the end, Batman dies but Bruce lives. Bruce’s life ties into the hero’s journey when he witnessed his parents death and fell into an abandoned back cave when he was young (Call to Adventure). Followed by that, he meets his mentor, Ra’s al Ghul in a prison and was asked to join the League of the Shadows. He crosses the threshold to the special world as he arrives in Gotham City as a hero ready to fight crime. He comes across enemies like The Falcone and allies like Rachel Dawes;his allies help him save Gotham City from Scarecrow’s gas.
