I believe that the positioning benefits the company to clarify their target market and customers. For example, Bass Pro Shop offers the camp tent or sleeping bag targeting the outdoor activity’s lover, which rarely found in other sport equipment store. As a result, if people are interested in getting the outdoor activity’s gear, they might tend to visit Bass Pro Shop rather than their competitor. Also, Bass Pro Shop provides the reviews of various products on their website, for their customers to review and select the best deal.
