Fishing in Mexico is extremely popular for those fishermen out there that prefer what I call ‘thrill fishing’. Anglers who enjoy sports fishing will find that they are extremely comfortable fishing in the lakes and rivers of Mexico. Deep sea fishing is the main type of fishing found within the borders of Mexico. Fishing resorts found in Mexico specialize in obtaining a whole range of fish including Marlin, Wahoo, Snapper and so many more. Bass can also be found within the wide variety of fish found in Mexico. Hotspots for fishing large game fish include; Southern Baja California, Cabo San Luca, Los Barillas and so much more. These locations offer lodging for fishermen, providing a place for likeminded people to meet and chat about potential conquests and the ‘ones that got away’. Within Mexico, the main places to find largemouth bass include; Lake Baccarac, Lake Huites and finally Lake EL Salto.

This lake has created a pilgrimage for all largemouth bass fisherman who want to get some bass action. Avid anglers come from all around the world in order to fish within these beautiful waters. This vast lake is approximately 25 miles long and around 5 miles wide, making it large enough to produce bass weighing over 10lbs.
