Relating back to our youth and how being so young are exposed to so much so fast. For an average teenage in the U.S you would think their daily routine consist of going to school, hanging with friends, and doing homework. Unfortunately for some they must take on more responsibilities in that, because their environment is not like most. In the article by Baskin, D., & Sommers, I. (2013), they found that the youth who are exposed to community violence for a long period of time will leave lead them to grow up to have violent behavior. These indivdulads never think twice about what they are doing, they act in the moment, which is your intuition.
