Basketball shoes have changed in many wears over the past few decades. From style, price, accessories, and shape have changed in every single day. Shoes have become more bright, light, and tight. Prices have gone 100$ up. There have been new and more accessories on your shoes. When basketball first became popular, they wore shoes like we wear everyday. Today, we have shoes that are made for basketball and we only wear it for basketball.
When basketball shoes change, so do prices. Today, an average price of basketball shoes are 120 dollars. Basketball shoes used to be 60$. There are multiple reasons why the price of basketball shoes have changed. For example, there used to be Converse Chuck Taylor. Now, there are huge companies like Nike and Under Armour. Today there are 100s of sponsorships with NBA pro's making new shoes every year. There are 12 different kinds of Lebron shoes. The price changes on the

This is partly because of sponsors. A sponsor is when a big company like Nike offers money or a contract to someone for items named after that person. For example, Lebrons. Shoes named after Lebrons. There are 13 different kinds of Lebrons. On each of them, his signature is at the bottom. To keep a sponsorship you need to make money with your item to keep it. When people get nervous, they do whatever they can to keep that money. From the color, to the shape. There are hundreds of different sponsors. This is what make shoes popular.
In conclusion, basketball shoes have changed in many ways from price to style. From Chuck Taylor to Lebron 13, basketball shoes have been revolutionized. Color, style, and shape have all changed. Color and features have made shoes pop but shape can change your feet. Basketball shoes today are both good and bad.
