Basketball is one of the top sports in America. With that being known, basketball shoes are a vital part of basketball. Basketball shoes protect ankles and increase the ability to play the game. Nike and Adidas basketball shoes are the top brands being used. Comparing and contrasting the Nike LeBron 10 and the Adidas John Wall 1 based on comfort, materials, traction, cost, and style will show which shoe is a better pick for playing basketball. First, comparing the comfort of each shoe is vital, because the LeBrons and the John Walls are very different in the comfort design on the bottom of the foot. In the LeBron 10 there is an air cushion that allows for a bigger jump and easier run, also there is a thick cushion inside of the shoe that creates comfort for a long playing time. Also there is great ankle support that keeps the foot in place and helps the person move quicker. In the John Wall 1 there is no air cushion, but there is a decent cushion inside of the shoe that helps with the bounce of a jump. The cushion is not as good as the LeBrons, but the ankle support in the John Walls is about the same as the other shoe, because they both share a high top fit and an overall great cushion in the ankle. The LeBrons are priced at $180 and the John Walls are priced at $115. They both are made well for their price, but the price of the LeBrons are expensive, because of the material and the air cushion that is provided. Even though the price is different between the shoes, shoppers will still buy either one. The shoes are similar, but one reason that the price of the shoes is so different is because of the basketball players associated with each shoe. The LeBrons cost more, because LeBron is a more well-known player than John Wall and the LeBrons are made to last
