The first hoop for basketball was a peach basket that James Naismith had gave to a group of kids to play with. Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players in which goals are scored by throwing a ball through a netted hoop fixed above each end of the court ( Google Definition).Basketball is a physical sport played by two teams, seeing which team can score the most points in a time length game( Mr. Smith Definition). Basketball can be fun and not as enjoyable as you want. You're going to have downfalls while you play. You'll have fun because you're on the court with a team working together and trying to win a game. The not so enjoyable part is when you team is down and you're trying to get back in the game. You have to have a lot of energy when playing this sport. You have to stay hydrated because you may never know when your going back into the game. Basketball is a sport that requires a ton of team work. Teamwork is very key to basketball because in order for you to score a lot of shots you need teamwork to move the defence. In basketball teamwork requires all five players on the same page because you can't have four players knowing what to do because it messes everything up because the fifth guy doesn't know what he´s doing. Teamwork is the combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient(Google Definition).Teamwork is a combined action of people trying to accomplish something(Mr.Smith Definition). In this case the group of people is the basketball players trying to beat the other team. If you go into a game Basketball is a sport where you can let all of your feelings out on the court. Also, if you really love to play basketball, the court becomes your second home, where you feel safe
