Hard work will lead you far in life and it will eventually pay off in the long run. Hard work is required to reach a goal but it isn’t easy. Baseball is seen as a fairly good, competitive sport at Northeast. There is some pressure when it comes to keeping the tradition going and being successful in baseball. In the past two seasons, Northeast has been only one win away from the school record for wins in a season. Beating this record was a goal for the 2016 baseball season. A couple of goals for me personally were to earn a spot on the varsity team roster and start for the varsity team during the 2016 season. The 2015 season was very good and successful. Many good and experienced players returned for the 2016 season. Some key players that came back included Ketz Dondiego, Zach Parson, Zach Scott and Jarrett Sterk. Ketz returned for his senior season and played 3rd base for the team. He was known for his power hitting swing and good glove at 3rd base. Ketz was often found at the top of the stats list for hitting. Zach Parson came back for his junior season and played shortstop for the team. He was known for his ability to get on base and for his great glove at shortstop. Zach was also known as one of the better middle infielders in the conference. Zach Scott returned for his senior season and played catcher for the team. He was known for hitting the ball in the gaps and being a wall behind the plate as catcher. Zach was known as one of the best catchers in the conference.…
