Baseball In Happville

The baseball field and main street of Happville in Mr.Peabody’s Apples contrast to each other in various ways, as well as have multiple similarities. One precedent of this is that the baseball field is open, and is spacious. It is a place that is uncongested of people most of the time ( except during a game). This is seen in the illustration of Mr. Peabody’s Apples on pages 24 and 25. This is in contradiction to the clogged main street, where many people are close together. All the buildings are snug, and everyone is familiar with one another, so the town itself is pretty diminutive in size. This information is presented on page 10, which states “... main street of Happville,(which wasn’t a very big street), waving to everyone he knew…”
