The Baseball Hall of Fame is an admired organization reserved for baseballs’ best players. To be a member of the Hall of Fame is the highest honor a baseball player can receive. It only stands to reason that voting for players to receive this honor should not be taken lightly. Players that make their mark on the game in a positive manner are deserving of a place in the Hall of Fame. According to baseballhall.org, voting for players is “based upon the player’s record, playing ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character, and contributions to the team(s) on which the player played” (para. 11).
