Not every emotion is permanent, but I do believe that is that you make the life decisions to be one certain emotion you are more than likely going to be that emotion most of the time. If you want to live a sad life, you will consciously make decisions that will keep you sad, same goes for happiness. If you truly want to live a happy life you will make decisions and do things that keep you happy majority of the time. It’s like if you want to be a successful lawyer, you are going to make the correct steps to be a successful lawyer, it’s not any different. The key thing though is that you have to constantly remind yourself that complete happiness is not possible, you are going to have some sad days, some mournful days, angry days, etc. You just have to know that you have to accept the good, the bad, and the ugly. Ignoring the facts will be where it becomes detrimental. Ithink that as a general statement most people just want to look back on their lives and say,”I lived a good and happy life.”, but the wise person knows not all of it was happy. They encountered some hard days in there and some days that challenged their happiness, but what they truly wanted was happiness they will achieve it. I don’t think striving for complete happiness will make you any closer to happiness, but taking into consideration that with happiness comes everything
