Barry started remembering his dark past, how he uses to hide in the basement when the law began snooping around. After hiding out for weeks, he decided to give up running moonshine for a more lucrative business. One he became so good at the law didn’t have a clue as to who committed the crimes.
“Maybe they’ve finally figured it out after all. Well, I’m too old and too tired to run from the cops now,” he thinks, glancing towards his guest.
“I better make sure the boy’s safe just in case there after him and not me.”

“I’m not, I’ve never seen the guy before in my life. Ask him, he’ll tell you.” Opening the car door, Kirk plops the suspect inside.
“I’ll be right back.” Walking to a group of coworkers, he pulls one of them off to the side.
“Hey, did you ask Rick how mountain man’s involved in the crime?”
“Yeah, he told me the old man didn’t know anything about the robbery. He claims he hid on the porch without him knowing it.” t
“You don’t think he’s covering for him, do you?”
“I’m not sure if he is, or not.” Hearing a young man’s voice the two look towards the home.
“Please don’t arrest him. He didn’t know I’m running from the law,” Jeremy yells, limping towards the middle of the yard. Not knowing what to expect, the officers reach for their weapons.
“He tried to help me with my ankle and that’s all.”
“Did you understand him?” Kirk asks.
“The boy’s saying something about his hurt ankle.”
“Everything’s alright lad, go back inside the house.” The old man instructs
“No, you’re not going to take the fall for me,” he replies, continuing to walk towards the group.
