The story starts during the French revolution when the French aristocrats are being continuously slaughtered, however they are receiving help escaping my a mysterious man whom they call “The Scarlet Pimpernel.” Over in England they too were being effected by this revolt as the French were coming to England to seek refuge. This started to effect the English aristocrats such as the prestigious sir Percy Blakeny. Percy, along with his wife Marguerite, are the center of fashion and wealth in the English eye. But this is ruined when Chauevlin, a French military officer, blackmails Marguerite saying he will execute her brother
