Being sad is a temporary state. But being unhappy is like a tree. It grows over the course of time and becomes big and massive.
As Barney Stinson quotes, you can “..always stop being sad and be awesome instead”.

You might have made a pact of using less social media. Or maybe not use Facebook or WhatsApp or Snapchat sometimes. But you just cannot help but sneak a peek don’t you?
Actually, it is relatively easy to control your social media addiction. Look at the fix on how to not use a lot of Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram.
Fix: Ok. You don’t have to uninstall your apps and go back through a horrible 4 hour or less time. And then hop back installing Instagram-WhatsApp-facebook-and-Snapchat in the same speed and order.
Instead, put all of your social media apps in a single folder. Now put this Folder in a less accessible screen of your device.
Change the notification tone and reduce the notification volume.
It might take you some time to get used to this but trust me. It will help in the longer run.
