They are the leaders when managing the organization. Thus, why I think the CEO is the person who should determine Barnes and Nobles strategy. Riggio has very little options open in order to get BN out of debt and make shareholder happy. He could sell the BN to Burkle, take Burkles suggestions and put it into play, do something that has to do with the college side of the industry, or do something with technology side of things. Obviously from 2009 to 2010 the stock price shot up, but ever since then it has been slowing decreasing. I don't think he should sell just yet, Barnes and Nobles is still yet salvagable.
