Barcelona in general
Barcelona is the capital of the autonomous community of Cataloniain Spain and Spain's second most populous city. It is the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean. Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage and is today an important cultural center and a major tourist destination. Particularly renowned are the architectural works of Antoni Gaudi and Lluis Domenech i Montaner, which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Barcelona is one of the world's leading tourist, economic, trade and cultural centers, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities.
Nightlife
Barcelona is a city known for its great nightlife. There is a huge variation in bars, pubs and clubs. From a small, cozy traditional Spanish bar for a lot of different amazing clubs. The big party in Barcelona are also the Erasmus parties in Barcelona. You can go out every night of the week if you're prepared. There are special theme nights on almost every night. Like de'Love Mondays 'at Opium Mar and ironic vernoemd'Crappy Tuesday' at Apollo. Razzmatazz is a very large and popular nightclub with numerous events. Top bar recommendations are: Shoko, Sotavento, Bar Marsella, Sinatra's etc
