TJs Barbershop I have been in the military since I was 17 years old. During this time I have gotten my haircut once a week, every week. Being in the military has also resulted in me having to relocate every 3 years or so. Every time I move to a new base I have to find a new barber to cut my hair. Over the years I have visited many different barbershops and I have always found something about every one of them that I have visited that I really liked, however not all barbershops are perfect. There was a barbershop in Indiana that was sports themed. All the female hair stylists dressed as referees and the walls were covered in flat screen televisions showing various sporting events. Sometimes it’s hard to communicate the entirety of a company into one sentence you have to lean on what you want to be known for. TJs Barbershop wants to be known for low cost and high quality even though it will be providing much more than those two things alone.
Vision statement To provide exceptional quality grooming for an affordable cost in a comfortable environment; ensuring our customers leave with happy heads and happy wallets.
Management Structure
This will be my second career after I retire from the military. I will already have a steady income and anything made from this company will be supplemental to my retirement income. Knowing that takes a lot of the pressure off of having to run a highly profitable business. With that being said, one of the things that I wanted out of my second career was to do something I would enjoy. I wanted a place where my friends could stop by and gather for a while. If I wanted to take three weeks of leave during the summer no one could tell me no. For these reasons I have decided to solely open this business. It will be a sole
