To become a barber you have to enter to a barber school then you have to meet the minimum practice hour’s requirements for state licensure must complete a program that is at least the 1500 hours long. After graduating from a state approved training program, students take a state licensing exam that includes writing test and a practical test of styling skills or an oral exam. The career you can finish it on a full time in 9 months and if your part time student you can last on to 1 year and 5 months depend on the hours you make. Barber school have a rule that you have to make at least 20 hours per week. You can choose your hours when can you go and when you can’t. You also need a good and strong powerful detachable trimmers so you remove the thick hair. Another tool is the cape so you cover your client while cutting his hair. When cutting hair you also need oil for your blades and cool care for disinfectant the blades of the machine so it can be clean. You also need scissors so you can cut the hair on top if asked or trim it on the sides. You also need to buy blades because on every client you have to change the blades to a new one and the one used you have to throw it away. when making a shave you have to put your client a hot towel and use a shaving foam or cream so you can make a good shave and not being rough and won’t hurt while using the blade .After all you have to use a after shave so the bumps don’t come out so that’s why the after shave is helpful. For the beard you can use a trimmer so you can line up your clients beard or trim
