Elektra Products , Inc, is an 80 years old company that had been once a commanding manufacturer of electrical products and supplies . But unfortunately this leading company lost track of the right pathway and got into twists . Barbara Russel is a vice president of the company and also a great team leader hired Martin Griffin to recover the company from its dilemma. Although Elektra Products,Inc was once a leading company , it also had it’s downs where it confronted relentless problems which resulted in her break down . Barbara Russel the Vice president of the company hired Martin Griffin , a qualified consultant to save the company from sinking by leading a team to arrange a procedure to innovate and adjust Elektra’s management …show more content…
She also could have mixed abilities between employees like managers and middle managers and make them work as teams to give them ideas about the empowerment management and the expected result, to motivate them to work harder, and love their jobs and make them feel as if it is a family they are working for . This would result in expanding the horizons of knowledge and creativity of the employees, and enhancing the company's reputation by boosting its sales production.Yet, we should not ignore the communication problem that the company faced due to the lack of organization and that needs to be adjusted by conversations which is nowadays important to know the employees worries and try to get over them in order to earn their trust and by that they will hand out their competencies and work harder. If we were in Barbra Russell’s place we would have made sure that all departments are doing their work effectively and focusing on their own work, though they would still be informed by what others are doing so they think as a whole not as an individual. We would have provided the right atmosphere to the employees for example; Increasing salary, promoting hard working employees, one free plane ticket back home, and a …show more content…

Being a great manager is not all about leading , being strongly skillful , innovative and qualified ,but rather providing a system of conditions advantageous for the company due to people working hard together and accomplishing the company’s targets . building relationships is the key to a successful business , because no man can win alone, similarly to organizations they can’t exist without the harmony of its members. Managers must evolve personal relationships with the people they are working with , that will make the hard work and success follow .However it is very essential to managers to collect different point of views and to know how to plan and apply change. being a manager also means being strongly skillful , innovative , and motivating and qualified .
