Obama’s presidential term is coming to an end and it’s time for the United States people to vote for a new president. Voting for the right president can be difficult since there are many candidates with great qualities and vast experience in the political arena. Hillary Clinton is one of the runners who has had many political positions allowing her to have the knowledge needed to be a great president. Aside from the political positions, Hillary also is able to understand that the United States is needed to make modifications in several areas. For these reason, she would be the best individual to be selected as our next president. Clinton has gone through many difficult topics that have helped her lead herself in the presidential environment. One of those complicated subjects is the gun control issue. Donald Trump’s thoughts on the gun control problem is that, “No matter what you do, guns, no guns, it doesn’t matter. You have people that are mentally ill. And they 're going to come through the cracks. And they 're going to do things that people will not even believe are possible. And whether it 's the school shootings, which are really very prevalent in this country. They seem to be more prevalent in this country (www.ontheissues.org).” While Trump says there is no reasoning in taking away guns or not; the firearm people are still creating danger to our citizens. This issue is a very sensitive topic but something needs to be implemented to protect the United States people. Clinton’s point of view to have a background check, psychological testing, and training is needed in order to identify individuals who are eligible to purchase a gun is a good recommendation. This procedure will ensure that those who purchase the weapons are using them appropriately and not to harm
