Not only is Trump older, but also simply looks like an unhealthy man. He constantly posts pictures of him eating fast food which Clinton has never done. One might argue that Trump has not really ever shown any signs of poor health and so Clinton comes under fire first; however these clinton health conspiracy theories have been going since she started her campaign in 2015. The reason is that Americans still struggle to see women as capable and independent. Pew Research Center ran a few surveys. One survey asked “Why aren’t more women in top elective offices?” 8% of both men and women answered “Women aren’t tough enough for politics” (Cohn). While 8% is not a huge number by any means, tt is not to be disregarded. This means in a room of about seventeen to eighteen people, one believes that the presidency is a man’s job. This is important to the idea of Hillary’s health. The reason Americans are so ready to judge Hillary is at least partly because they believe she simply isn 't tough

She has served as an elected official for a total of eight years (which is seven years less than the average 2016 presidential candidate,) but significantly more than Carson, who has never held an elected office. In their study, they found that in both 2001 and 2011, there was a “profound gender gap in interest in seeking elective office. Women of all professions, political parties, ages, and income levels are less likely than their male counterparts to express interest in running for office” (16). Why is that when women perform the same task as men, they do work just as fine as men? Figure 5a lists some obstacles women face, such as being held to a higher standard than men or that women are not tough enough to handle politics (“Obstacles to Female Leadership”). In order to close the gender gap and increase women’s representation in politics society must continue to raise awareness about the…

On the left side, the words “DNC campaign chest” is written, whereas on the right side “GOP campaign chest” is strewn across the center of the pocket. The left side symbolizing the Democratic Party is reinforced by the caricature of Bill Clinton with his infamous long face, as well as the abbreviations placed beneath him which stand for Democratic National Committee. The right side represents the Republican Party, evident not only by the label (Grand Old Party), but…
