Banning of drones will not solve the problems it will just give us a false sense of hope that it has all stopped. Also if the government was to bane all drones people wouldn't listen to them and they would still use them. There will be no one to enforce the banning of them so there is no point. Drones aren't all bad there are ones that are used specifically for delivering of packages. We will need to invent a system that prevents collisions of multiple drones and of planes and drones. If we just have a barrier so that we keep the military drones away from all of the other ones we’ll be fine. Drones are coming if we like it or not we just have to be prepared and deal with it. There is not going to be anything to stop them. They are a good

Drone warfare, enacted by George Bush and expanded on by President Obama to provide safety for Americans against al-Qaeda. Rather than retrieving intelligence from sources within the country, the use of weaponized unmanned surveillance drones allowed for far better independent targeting decisions. These strategic implications created a question among Americans, is the use of drones to target individuals ethical? This question has arisen due to a high number of civilian casualties, making it seem unmoral. Kenneth Anderson, however, provides readers a strong argument as to why drone warfare is strategically effective with his tone, organization, use of quotes, and appeal to logic in his article, “The Case for Drones.”…

The main arguments for using drone warfare has been about saving lives and cost, but such argument pales in comparison to the arguments against it. To examine the counter arguments of why drone warfare is ethically wrong, we must look at the political stance of the governments using drone warfare, the society’s responsibility, the ethics of the way that the drone strikes are conducted, the effectiveness of drone warfare and the international irresponsibility and unethical nature of drone strikes. Unmanned drones can seem like a good way to keep US soldiers safe, but they ultimately put more Americans in danger in the long run. Even if raids end in a successful arrest, a major problem arises-- what to do with the detainee. Most intelligence gathered in an interrogation is not admissible in a court, and releasing this information risks revealing undercover government agents, sources, and important details. The security of government agents and outside sources is crucial, and risking exposing their identity is not an option. Although raids can result in multiple benefits, there are also many risks which can be avoided through utilizing drone strikes.…

In theory, this would be possible if every drone in the US had cameras and was in the air constantly, but there are many uses for drones besides surveillance and military use. Additionally, many states have already banned the use of drones for surveillance and have enforced law to protect the privacy of citizens. In Mississippi, the SB 2022 specifies that using a drone to commit any “peeping tom” activities as a felony and in Tennessee the HB 296 prohibits drones from capturing pictures or videos over certain open-air events and firework displays (Hill, "Drones: The Latest Threat to the Right to Privacy » The National Judicial College"). There are multiple tactics the military uses such as land mines, bombs, raids, and firefights which may unintentionally kill or injure innocent civilians. These tactics are more likely to be harmful to civilians than drones because ground wars take place in communities where militants live within civilians. Drones have the ability to target one or more specific person, which ultimately keeps civilians safer, since they are not at risk of being caught in between a waging war. The technology drones use is very advanced; the Reaper drone is equipped with numerous visual sensors. These include: infrared sensors, two types of cameras, hellfire missiles, a laser designator, and an illuminator (“MQ-9 Reaper 1”).…
