It's very interesting that the reasoning for staying on the list has changed over the years. One would think that it would remain the same and they would simply move it to the spot it fell on for that specific year, but they seem to have rewritten it. Perhaps the offensive language present in the book was deemed to be less harmful to students in an age where its so frequently seen within our culture, both on the internet and in schools. But, was there really that much of a change between 2015 and 2016? I personally don't think so. Perhaps there is no real reason behind the change and it was simply a different way to word it or because it's position moved on the list.
