Cell Phones have been a serious problem on the road. Some people think that cell phones should be banned while driving because it is a distraction. Others think that it is important to have your phone on you in case of emergencies. I could argue on both sides, but I believe the safest and easiest way is to not have phones out while driving. We all know that cell phones are the greatest invention, but they are a problem while driving. Put your cell phones up while driving! Many people get in accidents daily because of cell phone usage. If you are driving and you get a phone call or text, ask the person in the passenger seat to answer it. Have you ever seen those sad commercials about cell phones while driving?The commercial states No text is worth it. …show more content…
I look around everywhere i go and all I see is them on their phones and I’m saying to myself “Don’t you have a life outside of what’s right in front of your face?”. Its sad to look around and see people not enjoying life, they're just too invested in their phones to see what’s really happening. For instance, you’re driving with your two kids in the back seat when all of a sudden you get a phone call, you answer it and start driving and a truck runs into you, your kids get hurt and you know it was because you were too busy on your phone to pay attention to the road. Texting while driving is not acceptable. It’s a disturbance to the people on the road around you. You can get on your phone when your not on the road, because you never know when something is going to go wrong. You don’t know when that one driver that isn’t paying attention is going to run a red light and run into you, you wouldn’t notice because you were too busy on your phone. Most people who text and drive usually are the ones to get in
