Band of brothers is an accurate historical show that really shows what it was like to be in World War. The TV show is revolved all around the 506th regiment. The name of this young group of soldiers was called Easy Company. At the beginning of the movies you would have never thought what they would have become by the end of the movie. The TV shows first episode starts off at the soldiers. Training camp. The training is located at camp Toccoa. The leader of this young group during the first episode is 1st Lieutenant Herbert Sobel. He leads the group through various drills and vigorous running to try and get the trainees in to top shape to get in prime shape for the war. Although he got his soldiers in shape, he did so in a way that is unfair. This lieutenant Sobel was so crooked, that he would punish the whole crew for one sip of water on a 12-mile walk. If you thought that was bad enough he kicked some one out the army for taking a can of peaches.
Through the episode you see the young group of men slowly come together. The leader of the pack whose last name is Winters starts this. Every run together as a group he finishes in firt at the half waypoint and still waits until everyone catches up just to encourage them to finish the run in the certain time.

Winter and severe of the members of Easy Company went to the big man who was in charge of Sobel. Their punishment was now much worth it due to the fact that Colonel Sink, the commander of the 506th parachute Infantry Regiment, had declared that Lieutenant Sobel be sent to a training unit, where his abilities would be better suited since he couldn’t handle the real deal. The fist episode ends as the troops are joined by their new Lieutenant whose name if Virgil “buck” Compton, who already sounded like he new more about strategy and war than the
