His beginning of his article is full of emotionally words and sentences that can create a sympathetic image. His emotionally words leads readers into an emotional reaction. Stanley plays on the readers sentiments by utilizing phrases that show that amendment 67 can affect people that have nothing to do with the pregnant women decisions. “ The attempted 2010 amendment, in fact, was very explicit with regard to forcing women who are raped to bear the children of their rapists” ( Stanly 2014). The author wants to make readers feel emotionally by reading this example that he makes in his reading. He wants fetal-personhood proponents to get an image of this situation. He wants them to get on the pregnant woman shoes, so they can think how they would feel if this happen to them. He did a great job by using logos, pathos, and ethos to support his argument. The information that he added to his argument determinate that he is against Amendment 67. Stanley also provides good reasons as to why Colorado voters should not vote for Amendment 67. He organized his essay in an excellent way to prove his point. Stanley also used a professional language. People that read his paper are able to find his evidence trustworthy and his opinions believable. His argument is trustworthy because he uses a lot of logos to support his argument, when readers see a lot of sources are more credible for
