To achieve your goals you have to be motivated and spotting just doesn’t do that. Spotting doesn’t help us be focused on the task at hand, and keep us from becoming distracted; it just helps our body turn around. Dance can help us achieve our goals though because we often set goals ourselves, trying to work on a particular move so we can perfect it. I think that it would be more realistic be a more realistic point to say that we are always working to get better and that is what helps us keep our eye on the goal. I also agreed with the argument that said ballet helps you to multi-task. In ballet, your legs and your arms could be moving at the same time, and it is like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time. Ballet also exercises your brain to think and move two parts of your body at once. Because of dance, I feel I have gotten better at multi-tasking. For example, I never used to be able to listen and write/read at the same time whether I am listening to music or listen to my teacher while doing my homework or writing down note.
