Snakes and reptiles in general are some of the most misunderstood creatures in the pet trade and because of this are neglected and abused every single day. With a reputation built on misinformation leading back centuries, one would almost never consider them to be on the same league as a dog or a cat when it comes to owning one as a pet. However, many species of snakes make wonderful pets when one is educated. and the experience of owning one is unlike any other. The possibilities are endless when adopting a scaly friend but for a beginner, there is no better candidate than the Ball Python.
