Although it may seem quite redundant to ask a 17 year old high school senior to consider what he may do with the education he receives at your university. However, the question posed causes one to reminisce on life. The mistakes that have led me to my current position and how I was able to climb out of darkness in order to obtain accomplishments and find my way to the promise land of higher education. As a person of color I am routinely forced to sit and witness my race continuously demoralize and dehumanize those of us who mean to be productive members of society. I however, have found myself trapped fading into the ways that have long haunted my kind. Quite frankly, I began to believe that as a person of color my chances of success were limited to my performance on the basketball court. It was imperative to my success and my academic rebirth that my support system never conceded surrender to the rigors an advance student faces on a day to day basis. Sadly, many U.S. Students have chosen alternative routes. Those alternative routes have led to the demise of American intelligence. I would advise anyone reading to thoroughly observe the American student from the eyes of an foreigner. In their eyes we are America, land of the fat and stupid. Quite frankly they are correct. Still the question remains how will I spark change. My education and my impending success will provide me with all of the tools required to inspire the youth in my area that the path the greatness requires education. I will not the be alone the rest of the class of 2020 across the United States. The American dream will be lived by the kids of America.
This education revolution will be followed by a new age of American intelligence. World renown American doctors, inventors, artist. All we have to do is provide the catalyst, set the example, and the rest will take care of
