Much can be obtained from watching movies and viewing videos. However, the fulfillment and richness of an experience are improved by attending live performances. On February 10th, 2018 there was an outstanding live music event in the world-famous Ball and Chain. I went to witness this concert with my wife; in order, to obtain the information necessary to complete this essay, but in reality, I ended with more than that because I had a delightful time and a unique experience.
My wife and I chose Ball and Chain because there were two presentations that day, Jazz from 6 to 10 p.m. and Latin music from 10 p.m. until after midnight. We wanted to have dinner while listening to some jazz and then have more fun dancing with the Latin presentation. But, things do not always go as planned. My wife and I have two children and we are expecting our third boy. We had to wait until our oldest son felt to sleep, so my mother in law could take care of the youngest. But, we decided to stay because It was already late, we were not very hungry and the music and the atmosphere were outstanding. Some people were having drinks and talking with occasional little dances, while others were paying more attention to the musicians. We only enjoyed the last twenty minutes of Lauren’s presentation, but more than enough to appreciate her dedication and the heterogenous and versatile voice she possesses. The small combo of musicians, with her, were very serious about their performances; nevertheless, you could see they were having a good time. The instruments used were piano, electric guitar, cello, and drum. All the musicians performed a solo at the very end, which I did not appreciate that much. Maybe, because my lack of knowledge or because it was too little, too
