She dropped down in her seat and let out a big sigh, she than shook her head and preceded to start her car. She knew she wouldn't have time to do her math or english homework she had at home sitting on desk and the more she thought about it the more stressed she became. She wanted to finish out the school year at least good but if she had to quit her job would it be worth it? She shook her head once more at the thought putting her keys in the ignition. It was the end of the year , she needed to finish paying off her car and pay for all the things she needed outside of school.

Both Halye and Dennis were asked if they enjoyed their jobs and both replied with a No because the customers are rude, but “money is money” Dennis stated. Working and going to school show a type of independence for some. Dennis has been working at Wendy’s for about 4 weeks now and doesn't think anything of it. Dennis got her first job at the age of 14 at adventureland and has been working ever since. Assistant Manager Emilee Arzola says a part time worker is suppose to only work up to 30 hours a week. If she could choose to be an employee instead of a manager again she’d continue to be a manager. “The hours are great and the money is as good as how much work you put in(hours), being a manager isn't as easy as what people think, we have to take math classes and do other things”, said Arzola. Arzola has been working at Wendy’s for 3 years. Arzola explains how they do get complaints about over working students in school but it's not meaningfully. “Students complain about them not getting enough hours, we when give them the hours they want it's “to much” for them to handle” Arzola
