In conclusion this investigation did prove its hypothesis that If 0-20 year olds, 20-40 years old, 40-60 years old and 60+ year old are all tested then the youngest age group of 0-20s year old will have the higher timed results than the eldest age group 60+ year olds because age affects balance related senses such as vestibular system. The vestibular cells die with age and the cerebellum cells can also be affected by age and drugs for arthritic pain. The results showed that the highest average result was the 0-20 year olds (47.75 seconds), then the 40-60 year olds (40.5 seconds), then the 20-40 year olds (31.42 seconds) and then the 60+ year olds (8.75 seconds).
