“There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. ‘Good Pride’ represents our dignity and self respect. ‘Bad Pride’ is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance” (John C. Maxwell). John C. Maxwell is considered by many one of the most influential leaders in the world. The American Management Association said that Maxwell was the number one leader in business. Business Insider and Inc. Magazine said that he was the most influential in leadership very relevant in looking at the perspectives of pride. Maxwell is saying that pride can be used two ways; if one chooses to use pride incorrectly there will be a poor outcome, however, if an individual uses pride the correct way, they will find great success in their results.
