The author doesn’t need to state that was the case, but my imagination plays part in how real world situations that occur will turn out. The author in a sense wants us to see the play in our head in attempt to visualize the surrounding areas and what is going on. Toward the end of the play the author lets us use our own imagination because the way the play ended gave us the option to do that. The play had someone came to the door; doesn’t state who actually person knocking is than it ends. This gives us reader to our abilities to finish out how the play will end. Also, the play or the author doesn’t tell if the play will continue on or not so, it leaves the readers with suspense. The play deals with crime drama that some cops deal with when they are undercover. The tone and word choice plays a huge part to express how the character reacts to certain things. This could be mean that some of the characters who we think might not use such tone and word choice do end up doing so. The characters might want to get their point across so they choose to do so. The choice of words that Lorenzo are typical words that anyone uses in a crisis. When talking to Quincy he says “You better fuckin’ tell me what you know” (Bad Fiction, 62). Looking at this a can different to most people, but knowing who each person is can tell a lot. Lorenzo is suggestion it’s better in his interest to tell him, since technically he makes the last decision as him being honest or not. In real world situation, when someone is talking loud or using a tone to state their dominance and the listener have the option to stay or listen or walk away. This situation in similar since Lorenzo is a cop and want to take control of the situation that is being developed. There is an option in walking away since technically he is not under arrest. There was a moment when most of the character just reacted with cuss words back to back with each other. They were trying to get there point across or just for the fact they were trying to overlook the main point being mind.
